york, and boston. heavy winds and gusts up to 50 miles per hour, closing delays with theripple effect of 250 flight cancellations and up to 5000 flights across the nation. it's a mess out ther snow blanketing parts of the midwest, making car travel treacherous. stretching into the upper appellations in western new york, a foot of snow falling down. parts of pennsylvania as well, the potential for more snow in western new york. storm related accidents being blamed for several that comment seven or eight chilly thanksgiving day celebration. ir with a full report. reporter: that is right, this started last thursday, and this is what is left of it moving across the mid-atlantic.
